We are Lisa Giffhorn, Lea Herz and David Valenta, master students of Work- and Organizational Psychology at Maastricht University.
Currently, we are working on our final research project, the master thesis. This project is supervised by Dr. Margje van de Wiel (Maastricht University), Dr. Fleurie Nievelstein (Maastricht University) and Prof. Karen van Dam (Open University/ Career Management Institute).
We conduct a study on the occupation of career professionals. Specifically, we aim at investigating differences in how professionals approach their cases and make decisions within their work. At the current moment, we are looking for career professionals who are new to the field of counselling and coaching (i.e. 3 years of work experience or less).
With your help, we aim at professionalizing the job of career counsellors. We addressed you because OVAL is a professional partner who offers exactly those services we want to examine. If you have employees who work as loopbaanprofessionals for three years or less,
we would be most grateful if you were willing to establish the contact for us. The study will be conducted in Dutch.
